Woman waking up

Queue the outfit rotation!

As a new school year starts up, so does a new rotation of outfits! I personally love the new rave of deciding each outfit to wear everyday. I usually tend to start the school year off with rather nice outfits like a jean skirt and a fancy top. It is a perfect time to switch up your style a little since the weather is an ideal temperature. It also is an excuse to get festive and show off all your fall colored clothing. I love wearing orange and brown during this time of the year because I feel that it best resembles what nature looks like.

In addition, there seems to have been a recent resurgence of 2000s outfits throughout our school–almost like they traveled through time! Baggy and lowrise jeans have definitely made a comeback in fashion these days, serving as a popular outfit option for some. These 2000s- inspired bottoms are the perfect pieces of clothing to enhance your style.

Moreover, brands that have been consistently the most popular are well known companies such as Lululemon, Brandy Melville, and even Aerie. These stores are always my go-to because they sell clothes that are so versatile, and amazing basics for any kind of day. Basics are essential for outfits because they can serve multiple purposes: being worn under a sweater or cardigan, used as a layering piece, or simply worn on its own. And I just have to mention Lululemon’s activewear; it is insanely comfortable and light weight, causing it to be a fan-favorite among many.

With school outfits also comes the transition back into school and adjusting to the flow of daily classes. Although the transition from a nice, relaxing summer break to a fast-paced school routine can be difficult, there are always positives to look forward to: seeing your friends every day, homecoming, and even school programs! I personally struggle with the stress that school brings, especially when it comes to grades and whether or not I'm reaching my goals in class. But I always know in the back of my mind that it's all worth it in the end. It is important to realize that you have overcome the transition back into school before, so it is definitely possible to be done again. Especially when you have the best outfits to get you through the day. Look good, feel good; you will indefinitely be able to crush the the day away.
